Do you know how to calculate your freight emissions as per SQAS 2025 and ISO?
The long awaited update to the Emission Calculation Guideline is now published and available on both the ECTA and Cefic websites. This means that the guidance is now aligned with ISO14083 and the GLEC framework.
It includes examples from a fictional company in order to illustrate the methodology required for SQAS 2025. The intention is that further, real examples will be added over the coming months to make it a practical and useful resource, especially for those smaller organisations that do not have their own in-house experts.
We recommend using it in addition, and not in place of, GLEC module 5 and as we start to see the results of the initial assessments under the new questionnaire, we will look to provide further help and support as required. In the meantime, we welcome your feedback on this new guidance.
