wil update

Women in Logistics (WIL) continues to build momentum and is taking several important steps forward. The WIL association is expanding its community and welcoming new members who want to help strengthen the gender balance in the chemical logistics sector.  Discover all the members here.
To sustain this growth, the consortium has started the hiring & selection process to attract a dedicated Managing Director who will support the organisation’s long‑term development.

At the same time, WIL, with the support of EY, is launching a new leadership mentoring programme within its Leadership Pillar, designed to foster talent and peer learning.

Last Year, the Driver Pillar organized a WIL workshop with real‑life simulations at Den Hartogh which generated valuable insights, feedback, and concrete recommendations that will be shared broadly to inspire and support the full WIL membership network.

WIL will publish the first baseline of its Metrics for chemical logistics, drawing on last year’s survey results. Together with EPCA, we will host a webinar in June 2026 to present and announce these baseline findings. More information will follow soon.

Looking ahead, WIL is preparing a new event later this year, developed in close collaboration with Bertschi.
