ECTA Annual report 2018
ECTA and its members faced new developing changes in 2017 and 2018. These have put the emphasis on new society values and key aspects of our ECTA activities. This facts shows our ECTA Annual Report 2018.
Environmental, digital and mobility issues, our logistics world faces, have a continuous and much stronger impact in Europe. Moreover, chemical logistics forms a core part of this supply chain and must anticipate the required changes and ensure to take timely actions.Â
Our ECTA Responsible Care members and other stakeholders confirm that this is properly reflected in the ECTA Responsible Care Program. In addition, aspects of ECTA’s general activities were tested further. However, sometimes they were re-evaluated against Responsible Care requirements.Â
Moreover projects as digitalization opportunities and driver shortage, are also underway to keep ECTA abreast of the latest developments our industry faces.Â
We are happy to publish in this Annual Report 2018, the 2018 Responsible Care KPI Performance statistics. We gathered this numbers during 2019. The ECTA 10th Responsible Care anniversary was an important milestone in 2019. It showed how ECTA members are committed to work together and demonstrates continuous improvement. Together we make the chemical logistics operations more sustainable, secure, safe and efficient.Â
Moreover this Annual Reports highlights some of the accomplishments of our ECTA workgroups.Â
