ECTA ANNUAL MEETING 2026

Moncef Hadhri:
Since joining Cefic in 1998, Dr Hadhri overseas the management of European chemicals industry statistical approaches and modelling analysis. He develops sector-specific networks and task forces on economic and competitiveness issues. In his role as Chief Economist, he contributed to the publication of a number of reports on the chemicals industry. He is the author of Cefic’s monthly Chemicals Trends Report as well as oversees Cefic Facts and Figures.

Marcus Lomax: 
Marcus Lomax is a Senior Technical Manager at Smart Freight Centre and his work revolves around updating the GLEC Framework for the various modes and geographies and helps companies calculate and report in conformance their Logistics Emissions and transport activity data in conformance ISO 14083. Marcus also heads SFC’s Certification service and provides training on the topic of Logistics Emissions Accounting.

Bram Plessers:

Bram Plessers holds a Master in Commercial Engineering. At the Port of Antwerp-Bruges he is the Strategic Account Manager Industry & Liquid Bulk since 2024. In his role he is leading the account management team in the segments industry for accounts active in the Port of Antwerp-Bruges.
Moreover, he is the Segment Manager Chemistry. In this role he is developing strategies, building relationships with shippers and representing the Port of Antwerp-Bruges towards the industry.

Genoveva Climent

She has worked for many years at the Port of Tarragona, gaining in-depth knowledge of the port’s logistics and the various stakeholders within the Port Community
Since July 2026, she has been Head of the Business Development Area at the Port of Tarragona, where she leads the port’s commercial and business development strategy, with a particular focus on traffic diversification, business development and strengthening the Port’s position in international markets.
Genoveva studied law at graduate level, then completed a Master’s Degree in International Business, a postgraduate course in Maritime Operations and, finally, a Master’s Degree in Port Management & Intermodal Transport.

Joost Naessens:

Joost Naessens is Director Transport & Logistics at Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council. He leads Cefic’s work on transport and logistics policy, with a focus on competitiveness, sustainability, safety and digitalisation.
Before joining Cefic, he built more than 25 years of operational and strategic supply chain and logistics experience at BASF Antwerp.
He has also been closely involved in industry initiatives on port logistics, rail, digitalisation and chemical supply-chain collaboration.

JORDI ANGLÈS JOVÉ 

Jordi Anglès Jové graduated as Industrial Technical Engineer. He is also Master in Supply Chain, Transport and Mobility and Postgraduate in Vehicles and Railway Service Operations.
From 2014 he worked in several export and logistics companies located in Barcelona. In 2018, he joined Port Tarragona, where he developed functions as a Port Services and Operations Technician. In June 2019, he was appointed to Commercial Coordinator, where he is managing the projects of bulk liquid traffic and energy transition.  

Wouter van Haaften

Wouter van Haaften is the founder and CEO of WAIMAKERS. He began his career in strategy consulting, working on digital strategy, transformation and due diligence projects across a range of industries and countries. He then founded the firm that is now WAIMAKERS (previously Generative AI Strategy), a consultancy dedicated entirely to AI. Today he leads a team of around 40 people who help leadership teams across Europe move from AI ambition to AI that is actually running in the business. His work spans private equity firms and their portfolio companies as well as logistics, manufacturing and professional services. At the ECTA Annual Meeting 2025 he was the dinner speaker on the impact of generative AI in chemical logistics; this year he returns to show what changes now that AI agents can carry out the work themselves.

Marnix Mondria

Marnix Mondria is Director, Supply Chain Operations EMEA & Asia at LyondellBasell, responsible for leading supply chain strategy, logistics execution, and operational excellence across a diverse international region. Holding an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and bringing more than 20 years of experience in supply chain and operations leadership, he has a strong track record of driving performance, resilience, and continuous improvement across complex global supply chains. In addition, Marnix serves as Chair of EPCA’s Supply Chain Program Committee, where he helps shape the conference program and foster industry dialogue on emerging supply chain challenges, innovations, and best practices.
