Women in Logistics (WIL)
To gain a better male-female balance across Chemical logistics, the Women in Logistics consortium has made great progress in their ambitions to pave the way for this important transformation, addressing the gender gap in today’s male-dominated Chemical Logistics working environment.
Attracting more women to the logistics sector will address critical business challenges such as labour shortages and European industry competitiveness. ECTA and Cefic are fully supporting the WIL initiative and WIL is happy to announce that ExxonMobil decided this month to join the WIL initiative as a new founding member.
In addition, WIL is happy to announce the launch of the Women in Logistics: Shaping the Future Survey in partnership with EPCA, designed to establish a baseline for identifying barriers, unlocking opportunities, and creating a roadmap for real change in the industry.
The survey is available here and you best complete the survey together with your HR representative. Please provide your responses by 4th of April at the latest.
